Case Study 1 – Luxury Cars – Advertisement Effectiveness:
This automotive luxury car study spanning 5 EU countries in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish measured advertisement effectiveness across a list of 8 luxury car brands. Television clippings, newspaper advertisements, hoardings, magazine inserts, pullouts, radio jingles, etc were shown and compared. The survey was for 60 minutes and involved over 42 MB of downloads. The survey was successful and data quality was excellent.
Case Study 2 – Mobile Phones Pricing – Conjoint Programming
This was a pricing study to determine best offer and prices for a mobile service provider in North America. The challenge was to program the attributes and pricing parameters dynamically. The logic was complex with extensive Flash programming and stringent timelines. The project was successfully delivered on our .Net/MS-SQL based survey platform – AlphaSurveys. Real time Online reporting, checks for data quality and identification of rogue respondents/speedsters was also implemented. This improved data quality and was highly appreciated by the client.
Case Study 3 – Pharma Tracker:
This is a very large tracking study with roughly 150 pages tab-plan and a 200+ page questionnaire We set it up and it continues with us in the 61st wave at present for tabulation and charting. The data is multi-card ASCII and converted to single card ASCII for analysis. Triple S data files are also provided as deliverable besides tables, open-end coding and charting.
Case Study 4 – Beverages Tracker:
This is a 50+ year old annual tracking study on beverages in North America – with us since last 3 years for tabulation and analysis. It contains about 800 tables, each being a special table involving data manipulation and recode. Major recodes involve combination of brands, their consumption times, occasions, location for preparation and consumption, etc. The recode in Quantum is about 10,000 lines and the QC process involved SPSS syntax of over 4000 lines of recode.
Case Study 5 – Data Cleaning and Validation and Survey QC
We provide data validation and cleaning services for over 300 projects each year. The validation is done using quantum. Our clients use this service to validate survey programming for online and CATI studies. Involving a turnaround of between 10-20 hours, the studies Go Live only after our analysts confirm data quality.
Case Study 6 – Predictive Modeling for forecasting Primary and Secondary Sales
Predictive models for Primary (Nielsen) Sales and Trade Sales were constructed for consumer products using past multi-year sales, advertisement and promotions data. The model was useful for the client’s production and marketing planning and offered a marked improvement on the metrics used over earlier years. Regression, Correlation and factor analysis was used to enable prediction.
Case Study 7 – Respiratory Disorder – Devices Study (India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka)
This F2F study involved over 120 minute In-Depth Interviews among Specialist Doctors and Pharmacists to compare medical devices shown. The study explored patient profiles, price sensitivity, prescription practices, current / desired usage for branded v/s generic drugs and product feedback on devices shown. Timely and satisfactory execution of this complex study won us a happy and regular client. The study was conducted across 15 cities in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka
Case Study 8 – Cancer and Diabetes Studies
The In-depth F2F study among Oncologists compared prescription practices across patients at different stages of therapy. Current and past drug therapy regimens, frequency and cyclicity of treatment and specialist feedback on rating of drug combinations and usage limitations were explored in this 10 city survey. Similar studies were done among Diabetologists and Endocrinologists.
Case Study 9 – Multi-country CATI Study – Health & Wellness Industry
The study involved study of training and education option in the industry across 24 countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Africa. Survey was programmed and telephone interviews conducted in 17 languages from our local affiliates in 14 countries. The data was collected centrally on our servers in US. With a total sample size of over 9000, the survey was successfully completed over 45 working days.
Case Study 10 – Software Product – Focus Group Discussion
The study involved detailed FGDs among home and office users of PCs for an European client. Separate groups of PC owners – tech savvy and General Population were interviewed across 5 cities in India in separate groups. The brief included detailed content analysis, report and presentation. The study was very successful and the report was accepted on first draft. We also had other field projects from the client as a result of this study.
